Irene Kalumu Joseph
Founder & Executive Director
Irene Kalumu Joseph is the founder and Executive Director of Girls Hope and Beyond, an organization dedicated to empowering vulnerable girls in the rural areas of Kenya - Africa. Born and raised in rural Kitui, Irene experienced firsthand the challenges faced by girls in marginalized communities, particularly the barriers to education that many of them encounter due to poverty, lack of sanitary products, and limited access to basic resources.
Irene Kalumu Joseph is currently self-employed in healthcare, United
States Of America.
Driven by her own experiences growing up, Irene has made it her life’s mission to ensure that no girl misses the opportunity to learn and grow because of their circumstances. She founded Girls Hope and Beyond to provide vital support to these young girls, particularly by ensuring they have access to sanitary pads and other resources that keep them in school.
As a Rotarian, Irene embodies the values of “Service Above Self,” consistently seeking ways to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Tracy Ngutu
Program Manager
Tracy Ngutu is the program manager at Girls hope and beyond, dedicated to empowering disadvantaged girls through initiatives like scholarships,mentorship and sanitary pads distribution.Tracy holds a Bachelor of Business Management degree, Accounting Major from Egerton University.She is also a Certified public accountant of kenya(CPA-K) and holds a Diploma in Data Management.

Kakai Brian

With over 9 years of experience, Kakai Brian combines his design skills with a passion for social change. At Girls Hope and Beyond, he creates impactful visuals that drive support for initiatives empowering disadvantaged girls. His expertise in branding and design strengthens the organization’s presence, helping expand its programs and reach. Brian’s work plays a key role in ensuring lasting impact for those who need it most.

Mary Mutinda
Girls empowerment officer
Mary is a retired primary school head teacher from rural Kenya with over 40 years of dedicated service in education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Nazarene University and is deeply passionate about nurturing and supporting children. Drawing from her extensive teaching experience, Mary brings valuable firsthand insight into the challenges girls face in accessing and succeeding in education.

Nicco Green
Community Liaison Officer
Nicco Green is an award-winning Gospel artist and motivational speaker from Eastern Kenya. As part of his commitment to giving back, he visits primary and high schools to inspire youth through his music. During these visits, he identifies needy students and connects them with the Girls Hope and Beyond Program, helping them access opportunities for a better future.

David Mbuvi

David Mbuvi is an integral member of Girls Hope and Beyond, committed to empowering disadvantaged girls through scholarships, mentorship, and sanitary pad distribution. Holding a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Embu University, David uses his skills to support the organization’s initiatives, ensuring girls have the resources and opportunities to succeed.
